One POD, one pickup point left

Steve Rosa, assistant emergency management coordinator for Brazoria County, announced that beginning Friday, Sept. 26, Brazoria County will have only one Point of Distribution and one pick-up point in operation.

The POD, which is in the new Office Depot parking lot at 140 N. SH 35 Bypass in Alvin, will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The pick-up point is at the Danbury Fire Department, 6202 Fifth St., Danbury. It will also be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
