Brazosport Young Peoples Chorus to perform 'The Mikado'Posted Monday, February 8, 2010
![]() Members of the Brazosport Young Peoples Chorus recently auditioned for “The Mikado,” a comedic operetta by the famous British composer and librettist Gilbert and Sullivan, adapted for young singers and actors by M.J. Arnold, Lynne Bartlett, Mark Leehy and Kevin O’Mara, with local accommodations and interests also added. The Brazosport College Chamber Choir will be the chorus. Rodney Mason will serve as director with Charla Carey as music director. The performance will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 7 at The Clarion at Brazosport College. Tickets are $5 and are available at the Clarion Box Office.
