BC helps with BISD 'Project Teach'

Brazosport Independent School District recently held its annual Project Teach fundraiser and auction. Project Teach funds scholarships for future BISD teachers.

While in the Project Teach program, students attend Brazosport College for two years, followed by two years at Sam Houston State University. After graduating from SHSU, students return to teach at BISD.

Pictured are former Brazosport College students, from left, Darren Ingram and Samantha Stanley, who have completed the Project Teach program and are now teaching in BISD.
