United Way of Brazoria County recently presented BACH with a check for $90,720.

The check represents contributions from the 2007 campaign that are being directed during the current fiscal year. BACH promotes development programs for children with special needs and helps to support and provide information to their families.

United Way directly funds 63 health and human service programs that help strengthen children and families, improve community health and increase financial independence.

The 2008 countywide campaign will kick off in September and continue through the end of the year. Offices are located at 1212 N. Velasco, Angleton and 2518 Westminister, Pearland. For more information call 1-800-971-6677 or visit the United Way Web site at www.uwbc.org.
