Local coffee shop Sunny Hearts is sponsoring a Pumpkin Patch during the month of October. They're selling a wide assortment of specialty pumpkins and mums, and they've developed an educational program for any groups interested in scheduling a field trip.

Fair parade watchers are invited to find a seat on the Sunny Hearts lawn this Saturday. Tom's Fun Band will also present two family shows on the Sunny Hearts back patio at 11 am and 1 pm.

Sunny Hearts is located at 405 E. Mulberry. Their operating hours are 6:45 am until 6:00 pm, Monday through Saturday. For more information call 864-3100.

WONDERFULLY MADE

Graduating seniors can win a free portrait session by entering the "Did I Look Silly or What?" contest offered by Wonderfully Made Portraits and Cards by Laurie Heath. All that's needed is a funny photo of the senior taken when they were little. The photo that earns the most online votes will win a session for its subject.

All entries are due by midnight on October 11. Voting will take place October 13-17. To enter the contest or vote for a favorite photo, visit LaurieHeathStudio.com and click on Laurie's blog.
