Jeanna Stallman knew she wanted to teach in 1998, when she graduated Angleton High School and began college at Alvin Community College.

When she heard about plans for Angleton Christian School back in October 2004, she knew she wanted to teach there.

She may not have planned to take over as the ACS administrator, but she’s definitely up to the challenge: “I am thrilled to have been selected by the board to be the next administrator,” said Stallman, who will take up her new post at the end of the current school year.

Stallman will take over for Fred Martindale, who recently left ACS to spend more time with his family.

Stallman is deeply rooted in Angleton. A native, she attended Angleton schools until her graduation in 1998, then began her college career at ACC.

When she married Bo Stallman, he was serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was stationed at Camp LeJeune, NC, so Jeanna finished her bachelor’s degree at UNC-Wilmington before the young couple moved back to Texas.

Jeanna Stallman taught for two years at Angleton Middle School, then a year at Sweeny Junior High, before moving to ACS in 2005, where she teaches kindergarten.

“I have enjoyed each day, and feel that I have developed a love for not only teaching, but a love and passion for this school as well,” Stallman said of ACS.

Bo Stallman has been a Texas Department of Public Safety officer for five years and works out of the Angleton office. The couple has three children – Carolynn, 7, Austin, 4, and Dylan, who will soon be 2. All three attend ACS.

Jeanna Stallman is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University, and looking forward to her new job: “I have many goals and plans for the school,” she said.
