GAP receives UW grant

United Way of Brazoria County recently presented Grandparents and Other Relatives as Parents Support Services with a $5,000 Community Building Grant.

GAP is a service that provides support and education to grandparents and other relatives who are raising children.

United Way’s community building grants are given every year to provide funding to various organizations for specific projects that will meet needs of Brazoria County.

In addition to the grant program, United Way funds 63 programs that help children reach their potential, promote financial stability and independence, and improve health.
