Fairgrounds Vision report handed in

The Brazoria County Fairgrounds Vision Committee has received the final report done by the Texas Engineering Extension Service.

Community support generated the funds to match a grant from Texas A&M to conduct the study which included several countywide workshops.

Members of the committee shown receiving the contribution made by the Brazosport Area Chamber of Commerce are Corrie Bowen, Brazoria County Ag Agent accepting the check from Butch Murrell, Chamber chairman; Darla K Helm, committee secretary; Sandra Shaw, Chamber president/CEO; Jack Taylor, committee member and Dude Payne, Brazoria County Commissioner.
