A resolution encouraging county employees to participate in the "Walk Across Texas," an eight-week program sponsored locally by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service and the Angleton-Danbury Hospital, has been approved by Brazoria County Commissioners Court. ![]() This program is designed to help Texans establish the habit of physical activity. Shown above (from left) are Commissioners Mary Ruth Rhodenbaugh and Stacy Adams, Sharon Trower of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service; County Judge E.J. "Joe" King, and Commissioners Donald "Dude" Payne and Matt Sebesta. The program is scheduled from Jan. 15 through March 13, 2010.
