![]() ![]() United Way of Brazoria County executive director, Stephanie Cone (top left) presents Cyndie Kilsby (top right), CIS site director, and Audrey Trout (top, far right), program director, with a check. ![]() United Way of Brazoria County recently presented Communities In Schools an $81,205 check representing contributions from the 2007 campaign that are being directed during the current fiscal year. CIS provides a link between communities and schools that helps give resources and support to students to help them stay in school and succeed. United Way directly funds 63 health and human service programs that help strengthen children and families, improve community health and increase financial independence. The 2008 countywide campaign will kick off in September and continue through the end of the year. United Way offices are located at 1212 N. Velasco, Angleton and 2518 Westminister, Pearland.
