BRHS donates to Live Oak Clinic

Brazosport Regional Health System recently donated $10,000 to the Live Oak Clinic, a clinic that provides quality healthcare and education to low-income uninsured residents in the Brazosport area.

Brazosport Regional’s contribution reflects their commitment to improving the health of the citizen’s locally. Their continual dedication and support of community organizations will help uninsured community member’s access quality healthcare at a low price.

“We want to work collaboratively with others in the community to improve the well-being of the community,” said Dan Buche, CEO and President of BRHS. “By making a monetary donation, we hope to improve the quality of life of the communities we serve.”

The Live Oak Clinic is open every Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and is located in Clute at the Dream Center on 796 S. Brazosport Blvd. It is the only all-volunteer, primary clinic in the Brazoria County with a sole mission to treat the low-income uninsured.
