Brazosport Regional well represented at conference

Representing Brazosport Regional Health Systems at the annual Texas Healthcare Trustees conference recently were (above from left) Tom Fowler, Mary Ruth Rhodenbaugh and Ken Smith.

The three joined community hospital trustees from across Texas to discuss common concerns at the two-day conference in San Antonio. This year’s theme was “Community Stewardship – The Board’s Mission.”.

Keynote speaker for the conference was Houston Astros owner Drayton McLane, who addressed “Leadership in Our Communities: The Duty of a Board Member.”

The trio also attended sessions on trustee leadership, governance trends, improving patient safety and building community confidence.
