Brazosport College recently presented its Vocational Nursing Program class of 2008 with their certificates of completion, nursing pins and hats. ![]() “We are very proud to continue to provide the Brazosport area with nurses from our program,” said Pam Gwin, RNC and Director of Vocational Nursing Program. The vocational nursing program at Brazosport College is an eleven-month program. For students to be selected to this program they must meet several qualifications. Classes are held at Brazosport College, with clinical assignments at local facilities. The percentage of Brazosport College Vocational Nursing Program graduates who pass the State Board examination has been 100% for the past 13 years. “Scores on this year’s exam were excellent, and three of our graduates are now employed at Brazosport Regional Health System,” said Gwin.
