![]() ![]() ![]() Karl Pittard, Chemist at BASF's Polycaprolatam Plant and Marcus Fields from Rasco Middle School, discover that a liquid plus a liquid does not always equal a liquid, as they work through the Operation Slime chemistry experiment, during BASF's recent Responsible Care® Event at Brazosport College. Brazosport area middle school students recently toured the Brazosport College Process Equipment Trainer (PET Plant) during the BASF ‘Operation Responsible Care’ day, and learned about chemical manufacturing. BASF employees and Brazosport College instructors conducted demonstrations and presentations, which included discussions about career opportunities, and educational programs at the college. Brazosport College offers a variety of courses and programs that allows students to get hands on experience for careers in physical sciences.
