The Angleton Animal Control and Adoption Center always has a selection of wonderful companions who need you as much as you need them, like this adult male beagle. He's two years old and has no name, but plenty of heart - he's friendly and gets along well with other dogs.

This Siamese mix kitten is about eight weeks old and is very laid back. It has no name either - adopt it and you can give it a name and a home.

Visit these adoptable animals and many others at the Angleton Animal Control Center, 535 S. Anderson, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Come look for your “soulmate” among the city’s dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.

If you’d like to help but can’t adopt a pet, think about donating chew toys, rawhide bones and strips – while the city provides plenty of high quality food for the animals, they could always use treats!

Did you know that when you adopt an animal from the AACAC, your new companion can be fitted with a microchip for only $25?
