As you may be aware, JD Rhodes suffered severe head injuries as a result of a helicopter maintenance-related accident last summer. Fortunately JD is recovering well after many months of medical care and we all expect to see him working again soon at Diversified Aviation Resources here at Brazoria County Airport (LBX). As you would expect, JD’s family has accumulated medical bills that are intimidating to say the least. A group of personal and professional friends are planning a benefit dinner and auction to celebrate JD’s recovery and to raise funds to help cover some of the medical bills.

Please mark your calendar and hold open the evening of February 7 to join JD’s family and friends for an evening of good food and entertainment beginning at 6PM at the KC Hall in Angleton. The KC Hall is located at 3213 E Mulberry (Highway 35), Angleton, TX. We are planning a Cajun menu and some lively entertainment that will include music, a live and silent auction, and a 52 card drawing for a new shotgun. The event will be family friendly, and we are planning for a crowd of several hundred. Tickets and a flyer have been enclosed to make it easy for you to attend. We will be collecting dinner ticket donations at the door or if you prefer you may use the enclosed addressed envelope to make a donation now. Tickets will be available at the door so bring as many folks with you as you would like. There will be many great auction items with something for everyone.

If you are unable to attend we would sincerely appreciate your support in the form of either soliciting others to attend the benefit or providing items for the auction. If you would like to make a direct contribution to help defray JD’s medical expenses we have set up an account to collect donations by mail at:
