Reader writes about spoonbill sightings

Micheal,

I just saw on your Diary of a Pizza Man that you spotted a roseate spoonbill on the west side of town at the retention pond on Bryan street.

We have had three roseate spoonbills hanging out around the drainage ditch alongside Double H Longhorns (305 S. Downing) this summer. We always have Great Blue Herons, but this summer the roseate spoonbills have been a pleasant addition.
