Reader remembers sandwich from the past

Michael,

While reading your article, as well as Ms.Bardwell's, it brought back some memories.

I too loved those lettuce sandwiches covered in mayonaise and salt and pepper.

Made me so hungry for one I immediately went to the refrigerator for that wonderful sandwich.
