Hi Weekly Journal!

I've been checking every day for a couple of weeks now to see when you'd be up!
The site is looking great and the layout is very easy to navigate. Thank you for not just slapping the whole thing into a PDF file and calling it "done".
I moved to Angleton in 1976, graduated from AHS in 1980 and have pretty much been in the area since. I won't count the two years I lived in Pennsylvania four years ago, because most of that time was spent wrapped in a blanket trying to keep out of all that damn snow! It may be hot here, and we may have to run from a storm once in a while, but anything is better to me than snow!
Ok, I missed my family and friends around here too.
Having another perspective on our local news benefits everyone in the community, and I'd like to give you a sincere "Welcome Back". Your hard work and effort to make the site a reality is greatly appreciated, and I'll gladly read every week.

Thanks for noticing the hard work Joe Sliva put into the site, and the graphics work done by Joe Carrales (he built the fabulous Weekly Journal header and most of the ads). While I'll be maintaining it, Sliva set the web site up in a fashion that makes it a breeze to keep up with.
We do hope to soon provide another perspective on our local news, but please allow us some time to get more organized. Until then, I hope we can count on the good folks in our area to keep us well informed.
