Mr. Boddy,

I've never noticed that thing about the numbers (Diary of a Pizza Man Crunching numbers in Angleton), but now that you mentioned it I have had a few out of town guests and relatives bring up that same point.

Another question I have—I believe you may know the answer to, after your work covering the city with the Observer. Why does Angleton not have wards for council like many other cities do? All of the council members with the exception of Mrs. Church live on the north side of town. Bonnie lives in the subdivison by Walgreens and that is even north of downtown. It seems to me like with the recent issues of flooding, things cannot be adequately addressed unless all parts of town are represented on council. The north side of town is higher up so it does not flood. The people that live there may not be as motivated to solve flooding issues as those in the lower lying areas. I know I live on the northern end of town so this is not an issue that directly affects me but it seems like something I thought I would mention to you.

Keep up the good work with the online Journal!

Thanks,

Jackie G Ross
