I am a native Danburian and just found out about The Journal. It’s a breath of fresh air from the online blogs to which, admittedly, I am addicted. I do wish there were more frequent updates to your site. My dad once chastised me severely for scoffing at the Angleton Times and it’s “small town” news. I’m sorry, Daddy. I was a teen and didn’t full appreciate the value of family and friends.

I especially like reading the opinions of readers. I would weigh in on the proposed smoking ban, but I suppose I don’t have the right – I’m no longer a Brazoria County resident.

Thanks for brightening my days with news from “home,” accessible at home .
