While traveling down the road on vacation or anywhere it is always fun to play some games especially if traveling with children. Some games that come to my mind are the license plate games where you start with the ABC’s of finding license plates. The first license plate you look for will show a state starting with the letter A, and so forth the game goes on, the first to get through the alphabet wins. This should take up quite a bit of your traveling time and make the trip go much faster. Or instead of doing license plates you might do billboards or road signs to make it more interesting. Another type of game if you don’t mind the noise is a humming or singing game. One person hums or sings a tune while the other ones try to guess what the tune is. One of the favorite road games of all times is I Spy. This game can be quite challenging when the vehicle is moving at a fast pace and the objects go by faster than you can guess. But if you limit it to things inside the vehicle it can be a fun and interesting game.
